Scott Solomon teaches ecology, evolutionary biology, and scientific communication as an Associate Teaching Professor at Rice University. His research examines the ecology and evolution of ants, microbes, and humans. He is the author of Future Humans: Inside the Science of Our Continuing Evolution and a digital series with The Great Courses called What Darwin Didn't Know: The Modern Science of Evolution. He often speaks and writes about science at schools, museums, churches, science cafés, and other venues and has appeared on numerous webinars, radio broadcasts, podcasts, television, and streaming series.
