In this year's Engines CD, we look at time and space, not so much as properties of the universe we live in, but as the fruits of human invention. We trace the strange way in which, through the tools of analysis and contemplation, we have made here-and-there, then-and-now, into amazingly subtle extensions of the human need to explore mystery and magnitude.
